Before you enter Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal Pradesh is a protected state and visitors require the appropriate permit to enter. Permits are checked at entry points into the state. Do not begin your journey without confirming that you have the required documents.
Indian Citizens- ILP
Indian citizens from outside Arunachal Pradesh require an Inner Line Permit (ILP).
Apply for your ILP before travelling and keep a copy with you during your journey. ILP for Indian Citizens can be obtained in person at District Administration offices or Tourist Facilitation Centres and online at [arunachalilp.(https://arunachalilp.com/).
Foreign Visitors- PAP
Foreign nationals require a Protected Area Permit (PAP) to enter Arunachal Pradesh.
PAP arrangements are generally made through authorised channels or registered tour operators.
